Please forward / spread this message from Japan !!
Dear all Green activists around the world,
Hello this is Rina from RH2 Network (International NGO in Japan).
It's been 5 days since the magnitude 9.0 earthquake hit the Northern region of Japan, and we've seen many changes with the situation throughout these days.
The Japanese people are spending days without sufficient sleep and are nervous when the aftershocks and nuclear power plant situation will alleviate .
Everyday we are under an information overload about the current nuclear power plant situation and are left to pray for it to get better.
However, at the same time I feel that this is a clear case where people can make their voices heard and take concrete action that nuclear power is not the way to go.
We can not predict earthquakes and the Tsunami, but we can prevent any further damage by refusing nuclear plants in Japan and in all over the world.
I would like to take this opportunity to call for all Green activists and organizations around the world to take action for Japan and the world in making a movement towards the stop of nuclear power.
Please write a statement or carry out other actions then post it on your website or send it to electricity companies as well as energy officials in your country.
If it is possible, please translate it in Japanese so that we can collect it and present it to the Japanese people, government, and electricity companies when appropriate.
(I can also help translate into Japanese)
Please lend Japan a hand to overcome this and shift to more sustainable forms of energy as renewables. This is a challenge posed to the world.
Also, let us know if there is anything we can do to help with your actions or if you need any information.
Thank you so much, with hope and love from Japan.

Rina, a friend from Japan published this in her own Facebook account on March 16. I am supporting this call. It has been several months because the magnitude 9. earthquake hit the Northern region of Japan, and we have seen many changes using the situation throughout nowadays.
